Jasper was indeed reopened this morning. I can't even remember the last time there were four lanes available. I'm surprised drivers weren't running into each other confusedly.

Sure will be nice to have it all up and running again.

Oh and it does look like 103st is getting paved from either 97 or 98ave to Jasper right now. A LOT of downtown has been repaved over the last 2 years, sadly many of the sidewalks and curbs were not replaced.

They're still doing the sidewalks on 101 St, not sure when that will wrap up.

U of A Business School could be on the move downtown

The Alberta School of Business could move from the University of Alberta campus to downtown Edmonton if a proposed performing arts centre goes ahead.

“The School of Business might have an opportunity; possibly a unique opportunity to move into a state-of-the-art building and receive a significant input of new resources including faculty positions as part of a development of a downtown campus,” U of A Business School dean Joseph Doucet told an audience at the school’s annual Report to the Community lunch on Wednesday.

I don't understand what's happening with the Jasper Block. Why is it sitting empty?? Even if they want to flip it, why is that stopping them from leasing it out?

I don't think there is a rush from the vendor to make a quick sale.
