Sad to think that London, nicknamed "The Forest City" has less than 25% tree cover

Heck, there's even a tree on the city flag.


These days the forests that surrounded the city are all sprawl.

London's nickname comes from when it wasn't connected to highways, you literally had to traverse through forest to get to the city. The Forest City. Regardless, London has awesome public areas such as Sifton Bog, an incredible wetland habitat leftover from the glaciation.

KL and Houston are right up there with those cities.

London, or maybe Ottawa are IMO the leafiest of Canadian cities.
