It's very interesting to see the footings in closeup pictures and video. With the construction workers in the pictures it gives an idea of the scale of the footings and concrete pad (much larger than I thought based on looking at the webcam).

Nope, A second Temporary power hookup.
Same setup as on Prince/grafton

I walk by the hole several times per day, so updates should be regular during the work week.

This picture where they are preparing to build the peripheral wall is interesting - http://fillingtheholehfx.tumblr.com/image/63095983475. It appears as though the concrete will be poured directly between an inner form and the bedrock wall. Maybe this is the normal way of forming a peripheral wall when a concrete wall is next to bedrock?

It will be interesting to see these underground peripheral walls being formed.

I look forward to seeing the ground work completed so that the progress will advance more quickly.

I'm not sure that would work in Halifax. Montreal and Toronto both have subways so there's more of a reason to be underground in the first place.

There's also only so much demand for retail. I'd rather see it along Argyle Street.

You'll get to see Georges Islands just fine.
