That view has grown tiresome for me, and that's mainly due to it having practically not changed since 1992 (with a couple minor introductions in 2004 and 2013). Once the Bell centre projects top out, then that view will regain the glory, I'd say.

The new CF 38 floor towers on st-Antoine will hardly make an impression at 120m. From The mountain, I don't even think the 2 Windsor towers will make an appearance. Even the 900 maisonneuve, I imagine it will hide behind the scotia towers.

By the way... Just wanted to clarify that what I was saying was the The Pearl DOES stick out (like a sore thumb sticks out from the rest of the thumbs) but I never said it was ugly, I do like it alot...

It's true that the view from the escarpment and the one from mont-royal seem like twin views. In fact, Hamilton and Montreal seem to have many things in common: post-industrial cities turned artistic hubs, with strong academic institutions, rich multicultural communities, both outshined by the bigger city, and both with skylines that were practically stagnant but are now starting to re-emerge.
