It's odd how the glass looks consistent from some angles and not from others. Compare the recent pic to the previous one posted by Keith P. - the glass looks much more consistent from that angle. Hopefully they will find some way of fixing this or at least making it look intentional - right now it looks really sloppy.

On the schematic, the orange level is marked as "double layered" - maybe some of the panels currently only have one layer of glass?

Here's one of the science buildings at my school. Seems like it suffers from some of the same problems as our library? The most vibrant orange seems to be backed by an opaque material, while the normal windows appear purpley? Maybe I'll go inside and investigate...

Noticed this so I thought I would share with you guys. They stared to lay the pavers in the plaza behind the Library. I will be really happy once Queen street is back together and the street improvements are done. Along with the plaza it's going to be a really nice area.

Didn't bother with any pictures since we are getting regular updates.

This building is looking great! The new granite on Spring Garden and Queen streets will be a great improvement to the area and I'm excited to see the whole area completed the next time I'm home (likely in April).

I really like the interior thus far, provided it functions well for the users of the library, I think it's a great design aesthetic.

Judging by their previous work, I have full confidence in Schmidt Hammer Lassen. I think it'll be beautiful when finished.

Love the open space. Maybe they can put a 5 story statue of Queen Judith there? Good Library art. I suppose it will be named after her as well?

An interesting project indeed.

Have to say in its current form (exposed steel and concrete) the cantilevered section has a somewhat ominous appearance from SGR. I'm sure it will look pretty cool once all the glass and cladding is in place.

Just going through the downtown on the weekend I can't help but be impressed at the amount of construction going on. More to come as well, it seems.
