It seems a reasonable route might be along the existing rail line, because a) it's relatively centered b) it would bring the LRT to the edge of Airdrie's 'downtown' c) assuming park and ride, it would funnel that traffic away from Highway 2 rather than having both car commuters and transit commuters pack the same roads heading toward #2.
