Even in markets where parking requirements are minimal they are building parking.....podiums for rentals; underground for condos. I know because I am in one of them....and its frustrating.
Apparently developers don't think people are ready to give up their cars. The only major hi end, hi rise I've seen go up in the last two years without parking is in Miami of all places. And everyone there is saying the developer is crazy.
