For the love of god, nobody is saying it isn't better. It's just not as great as some here make it out to be. Especially people watching from afar who don't live here day in day out, who don't have to deal with the downsides. I'm a huge downtown cheerleader and believe in its eventual future (part of the reason I live here), but I'm not going to put blinders on to everything that's not right.
