From a distance LA in general doesn't give a crap about other cities and doesn't find itself trying to follow a flow. If anything it forges a completely different path uninterested in its counterparts. That's why Hunter is mad. He thinks he knows how LA should grow... And quite frankly LA doesn't give a crap.
