I can see some kind of crane on 104 St, in front of Roast/Mercer. Someone please tell me they are finally installing the neon museum pieces on the Telus building?

I found another reason why Austin, TX is similar to Edmonton besides the population, growth, and land mass:

I'm liking the sounds of this!
I hope the commercial tower is 102 st. Centre (Aimco).

^^ Huh. Based on that, I'm guessing that was the inspiration for "The Edmontonian." Terrible podium and all.

EDIT: Ok, on closer look maybe not terrible podium, but disconnected from the tower in style at least.

Shhhhh. Don’t tell anyone. Shhhhh. Something is changing and it’s not right for us to talk about it. We’re uncomfortable talking about these things … good things. We’re expected to be talking about the mosquitos in the summer and the dark days of winter. So whatever you do … please don’t share this with too many people.

Headline: Edmonton is emerging as an incredible place for young people to come and build their lives, their businesses and their careers.

Shhhhh. I told you it’ll feel uncomfortable to say … so keep it to yourself.

Word is that Bella Management got fired from Icon 1. I'm sure a bunch of you have heard some pretty sketchy rumours regarding how they were running the place along with the condo board. Hopefully that building will get back on track...

The residential proeprty management industry really needs some oversight.

We've got Ayre Oxford in our building, and while a great deal better than Bella (from what I've heard) there are still big issues with how they manage the asset

We have Ayre Oxford. I'm guessing it comes down to the individual representing it....we have had nothing but fantastic support from them and our building runs so incredibly smooth. Our AGM this spring lasted like 45 minutes.

My building has been using KDM for quite a few years now. No issues that I'm aware of.
