Not my photo, but this was taken a few weeks ago. It shows the view from the Bay Bridge, with the advertisement in the process of being raised:

I wonder how many hours will be spent on just raising the advertisement on this building over the course of its construction.

I'm not sure that's the right way of looking at it. The advertisement is on the perimeter protection screens. Webcor is using the screens as a safety measure to keep objects from falling out/off. They would be raising the screens on each floor no matter what. The otherwise empty square footage just provides an opportunity for the developer to advertise.

I wonder how much of the view will be obstructed by tower II from the perspective of tower I.

I didn't realize that was also called Millennium. Boston is getting a sibling tower, about 20' shorter. Hole is already dug (been dug for 5 years) but they're finally working on it.

I have seen contradictory heights listed for both this tower and the first one, especially on the diagram section (which has them at 605' and 541' respectively). Can somebody please confirm the heights of both these towers? I thought the taller one was around 640'.

They both sit on the remains of Rincon Hill, about 100 feet above sea level. Tower 1 is 641 total, and tower 2 will be 541 total.

I'm pretty sure tower one is 641' tall, not including the hill. And tower two is either 495' or 541' tall not including the hill, though I'm not sure which number is correct.

According to fflint and JChurch the architectural drawings had tower 1 at 641' and tower 2 at 541'. This was from way back when tower #1 was started.
