I really like that Habitatty one. Not nuts about the blank sides, but the design is interesting enough that it's O.K. This would look REALLY good as part of a dense canyon of skyscrapers.
Eventually, Edmonton will probably have a really tall wall of towers along the edge of the slope down to the river valley. That will look really badass.

Glad to see downtown Edmonton starting to boom, the city centre up there was getting a little stagnant. Great looking proposals that should really start to revitalize the area.

Plus up to 850 million on the arts project. This will likely be a go in the next year or two.

I'd suppose I could put this here...

Word is out that Tim Hortons is moving out of it's current headquarter in Oakville. They want to consolidate about 700 employees into one main building. Oakville, Burlington and Hamilton are all going to be fighting to get the headquarter.

Hamilton needs a Tim's Tower. 2015 will be Tim Horton's 50th anniversary so we may hear by then where the new HQ will be.

Will the Oakville Snob Crew want to work in Hamilton?

Thankfully for Hamilton they won't be the ones making the call.

With Schneiders and its 1,200 jobs moving from Kitchener to Hamilton, maybe Timmies should have a look at K-W. Seems fair, no?

I doubt THI is looking for office space in a tower. I bet they will likely end up in a low to midrise suburban location.

Question for you Leftcoaster: is there a render somewhere of Tour des Canadiens at 50 storeys that you could put up here ? Or maybe they didn't bother to change the render with only two more storeys ?

Hopefully Timmies breaks the suburban mold and chooses to build a new tower, even a midrise in downtown.
