Right now in our area new infill is selling for $400k.. that gets you a new 1600 sf 2 story on a 33x120 lot with a full basement and 2 car garage. That's a traditional style house. I'd be interested to see what developers can provide in a "modern" infill at the same price point ?

^you can do 'modern' for reasonable amounts, but depends on land value really.

Nice looking project for sure.. one thing that'll be fun is keeping the bottom 2 floors of the north facing glass from not looking totally gross during the 7 months of not good weather. That may be an oversight.. not so sure what you'd do about it though

A great project that I hope to see some of you guys get behind! We did our small part and bought a bulb dedicated for our little guy at the 124th Street Market a couple weeks ago. It's kind of neat that they will have a "map" to show you where said bulb is on the bridge once complete, so you can identify it after being installed.

Really interested in this thermal buffer that is mentioned - any idea the exact reference they are making here? Does it help with the buildings overall energy rating, or is it brought up in the sense that you can get used to the outdoor weather for a few minutes before you walk out the door to face -40C?

Any ideas on pricing? Looks fancy, but more functional.

Just came back from a trip through both Toronto and Twillingate, NFLD - Both locations had nice examples of new development with tasteful extension of the existing heritage - this would totally help 104th street extend into the boardwalk and add to the vibe!

In regards to the present debacle over street hording and traffic delays in town: Toronto was an absolute mess in terms of what was available to traverse through and the overall congestion on the streets caused just by the closures - large pockets of work everywhere downtown, the waterfront, the west side I was staying at. Tho the signage was a tad better, but not by much. Not complaining at all, but made me appreciate the Edmonton situation a little bit more.

Edit: I wouldn't mind a retail bay or two being there on the north side.
