One Liberty Place is nice but none of the Philly's other big tower do much for me. Toronto's equivalent is Canada Trust Tower, which I actually like better. I'd definitely trade any of our new or under construction 200+ metre towers for it, except for L Tower or perhaps One Bloor.

I would love to see something like Philly's One Liberty Place in Toronto. It would work so well with the rest of the skyline. One can but dream (unless some other forumer is good with Photoshop and can create a Toronto skyline with 1LP in it?)

Its crazy how much larger that swath of land appears now (between the CN tower and the waterfront) with the hardcore development. Before it looked like you couldn't fit any thing in that space. Scale is a tricky thing.

Again.....wow. Toronto blow SO many cities out of the water in terms of urban living and highrises.

Wow those pics are awesome. In that Winnipeg flyover shot you can even see the floodway! What an impressive infrastructure project that is.

Mississauga's skyline looks badass, can even see a couple tiny office buildings in there!

Yes! But Montreal already has an impressive stock of historic towers.

Yup I'm aware, It'd be nice though if they had built them a wee bit taller. The RBC tower (shouldn't call it that since RBC vacated it last year) would have been truly majestic at 150m. Oh well. At least they didn't tear it down (wouldn't put it past the 1960's urban planners).

Great aerials! Nice to see Winnipeg's core in her entirety. It's a kinda rare treat to see all the major highrises downtown captured in one frame. The Mississauga one is stellar as well.

Oh, and nice Montreal pic, Martin Mtl. That city is a real beauty.

Winnipeg today (poor quality, cell phone taken through a window, but it was a nice view of downtown)

From the roof of my apartment building this morning. The power was off in my building from 1 am until 3 pm today but at least there was still running water.
