Reminder - tomorrow night!

Dave Mowat from ATB will be there to talk about the High Level Bridge
EPS will be there to talk beat patrol
Living bridge to build excitement around the 97st rail bridge
We will talk Scott Park, Arena and enjoy some libations.

I'll try to be there! I know I have some questions about the High Level lights even though I'm 100% in support of it.

It was great to see so many passionate and involved people in my hood.
Quite a few VIPs were there.
Got to meet a couple more of you messageboard types.
Had to keep avoiding psycho female acquaintance at the meeting which was kinda awkward.

Gondola is an interesting concept (and I might even support it if it was a privately funded venture) but isn't all this really putting the cart before the horse?

I think Rossdale needs to be designed and built out before even considering this.

Rossdale first needs to be made a "destination" before building something like this. It's a nice idea for the future, though.

Edmonton Housing starts in the region were trending at 14,424 units in April, compared to 13,738 in March. The trend is a six-month moving average of the monthly seasonally adjusted annual rates of total housing starts.

The CMHC said housing starts in Calgary were trending at 11,323 units in April compared with 11,242 in March.

^^ I'm surprised anyones still able to get onto C2E - I gave up after waiting 2 minutes for a thread to open. I think Richard has stopped feeding the hamsters.
