This is something I've never understood. I'm not a Habs fan, but I would much rather the Habs win over Phoenix or Florida. It doesn't matter that I'm a fan of a rival team, it's about a fanbase being rewarded for their loyalty and support. This "if my team doesn't win than screw everyone else" view seems so petty.
