My favorite proposal. If this happens I can die a happy man.

^^LOL!! My favorite proposal too! @ 490' this would be the tallest ground-up residential in not only DT but all of LA COUNTY! it really is a nice hefty structure with a contemporary design.

My TOP Wishlist OF past proposals:

PARK TOWER & PARK 5TH
METROPOLIS
LA CENTRAL
ZEN
FIDM

IF we can get all of those revived in some shape or form then there will be no doubt that DTLA has arrived!

Probably my favorite residential proposal in all of downtown.
I'm afraid to get my hopes up but man that would be awesome!

Yea, I'm pretty confident that this boom is a greater one than the one a few years back. I'd like to see this proposal take off too.

Assuming that's the same design and they didn't scale down their plans.

That's what happened to 8th and Grand, my former "favorite."

Single most desired residential project in the city that I want. Gawd...ill name my firstborn after the designer if this is built as rendered.

I was hoping for a few heart attack moments...

(they better NOT be soil testing for a wood frame over concrete first floor, this is one of the ones I most want to see rise, assuming the design can be retained)

No, he's real. I heard he hangs out with Al Coholic, Oliver Klozoff, and Jacques Strap.

The only thing that worries me is that Kanner Architects, the people who designed the original tower, is now defunct.

WonderlandPark had me scared until I read who the "owner," is. Well played, sir.

Just a few hundred feet away, 8th and Hope:

Is it just me, or does this building make City West look a lot better?

We need 10 more of these.

Agreed, even though I would say to myself its just pretty in that lighting, but it actually does inject some kind of vibrancy into the otherwise banality of its surroundings! I guess not all lowrises are of the devil! Lol
