Nice win Habs!!!

Subban now with 27 pts in 28 games... Don Cherry even compared him to Bobby Orr.

He would probably be with 30+ pts if not for that contract dispute.

I believe the Norris should be decided between Suter and Subban (Letang has Crosby to boost his stats and is injured right now).

Now Markov and Subban have combined for 50 pts, more than any other 1-2 D in the league.

The reason I believe he's handling it better is because he knew it was coming for a while, whereas Smyth didn't. Iggy also got to give his say in which team to go to. Basically, Iggy already did his grieving.

That's probably the main reason, and the fact that every player is a different person emotional wise. If you put Smyth and Iginla in the exact same circumstances they won't handle it exactly the same way.

Any player that gets traded from a team they've been with for a long time, had some positive experiences with, and then unexpectedly gets traded would be upset.

BTW, we just own the Rangers at home. The last time they scored a goal at the Bell Center was January 2011.

Price has a shutout streak of more than 250 minutes (that's more than 4 games) vs them at home.

I highly doubt it. It would would be extremely difficult to be in last place longer than the Oilers, who have been in last place or the bottom of the league since the dinosaur age. Has any team in the history of sports been dead last for so long?
The Oilers have managed to make eight spot (and just barely) once in the last decade. The Flames won't have any trouble beating that.

Was at the Oiler Game Sat nite...Was in line with a buddy getting drinks and they score 3 goals in under 3 min lol. Never have I been to a game and missed not 1...not 2...but 3 goals...just odd lol.

But we did see the 4th goal!!! 25% goal viewing percentage!!

The drinks were cold the Oilers were HOT and Rexall was Electric!!

IMO, this is THE defining game for the Oilers. If they want to show everyone they want in to the playoffs, this is where it starts.

Not directed at you personally, feepa - I can't recall your personal stance on this - but this is the exact polar opposite of what I've been hearing from Oiler fans for years. That the Flames 9th place finishes were far, FAR worse than last overall. Because the draft pick was so much worse.

It's a bit amusing to see the shoe on the other foot, and how it's changing everyone's view.
