^ We do love our Churchill seniors though.

We're in a bit of a tricky spot right now, trying to find assisted living accomodations for the in-laws, as their house is getting to be way to much for them to deal with. Looked at Chruchill but it doesn't really suit their needs very well at all

Assisted living/seniors can work well in multi-storey... tons of examples.

Developers are damned if they do and damned if they don't here on scyscraper it seems... The only issue I would have with this podium is if it is facing jasper ave? If it is on a side street I don't really understand the shock and horror over the podium which seems to include either town home or retail bays. The little peeked roofs through me off at first, but I actually don't mind it. Seem very minor changes would make this main floor very clean and modern. I feel like we see so many examples of proposals that if they were proposed in another city, you guys would be drooling all over them, but anything proposed here is shit on before it even has a chance... Some very jaded Edmontonians here lol

I was joking about it being one....it's just that it looks like one...I'm not sure why.

The townhomes need to have roof top balconies.

I think (most of us?) are looking for simple, clean & modern architecture. It doesn't have to be iconic

snowplows mowed over a handful of the granite blocks on 108 street last night. what a piss poor design.

Quite disappointed there's no student rates, since many of these types of conferences out east offer discounted rates for post-secondary students.

^which is why the City/EEDC will be putting on very cost friendly workshops and other conference related events to help encourage participation of students, avg. citizens and those who might be interested but not in the industry if you will.

The conference itself is privately run/for profit and very much industry/professional directed.
