Anyone hear of any updates on the Star of the Sea condos? That development has been pretty quiet as of late. It'd be nice to see that development start soon; plus then we can add another project thread.

Like Jeddy just said, Last time we heard it is supposed to start this spring. As of right now, there is nothing started yet and the site is still being used as a parking lot. I hope we'll begin to see some progress within the next 1-2 months

I am really looking forward to this being built. It's the best looking proposal in the city IMO right now!

Yeah, I know. The developers told me Star of the Sea would begin in the spring in an email I sent regarding the Hilton a few weeks ago. I was agreeing with you

I reworded it so that it hopefully doesn't come across how you read it before. Sorry if it came across as offensive however you read it, not my intention

no worries lol I know you have no offensive intentions and it even would have been valid in how I interpreted it due to our great deception that was proposal 23, I just wanted to show you that I wont post out of hear say rumors and I'll only say stuff if I hear it from someone I see as credible

We have all been shaken by the great deception ..

WE WILL GET THROUGH IT TOGETHER!

Beautiful, as always. Someone should tell the tenants of Scotia Centre and John Cabot to stop being eco-friendly and leave their office lights on, it'd help illuminate the skyline after dark

That's just because you can't see the penthouse on top. Once that's visible, it'll look twice as tall...

Happy City SJ posted a tweet this morning stating that a public hearing for the proposed Sandman Hotel will be held on March 26.

Here's a link to the public notice:

I was going to comment that it looked ghetto. I've no idea if they've any intentions of doing anything.

What do you guys think of O'Leary running for mayor? I can't recall her position on development.

Yea a certain rustic charm. I think I remember this was the result of storm damage but I can't place it, or who owns it.
