Condo fees being $542 on the high side to $299 on the low side. Includes heat & hydro. Seems high to me but maybe that's on par with other units in the area?
That is high compared to Sky. Condo fees include water and are a bit over 2/3rds the low side above (for a 809 sq ft suite). Adding hydro costs still has it way under $299.

That's some really cool stuff! It reminded of me of something I saw a while back, called the Cube Project, in England. It's a house that's only 10x10x10 ft. As far as the Cube goes it's definitely not how I'd want to live but it's interesting to see how spaces can be used
speaking about decorative lighting recently, the thing that bothers me the most is when the snow plows knock off the decorative bases and then they sit there for five years with the exposed wires hanging out. like with the new market ave. lights, nice bases, but wait til the sidewalk cleaner comes along.... osborne village and in front of union station are glaring examples of this with their ornamental lighting.
Thanks Mr Katz! As a parent of 2 young kids heavily in hockey, this is great news. Garden City is getting 2 rinks and East End 1 more (to add to their current 2). Also, not in article is they City is giving Southdale more $ to reduce their debt when they added a 2nd rink.

One of many reasons contributing to why people don't like snow ploughs. They're really paradoxical in nature. On the one hand they clear the streets (kind of), and on the other hand, they make everyones lives a living hell. They also cause unnecessary infrastructure damage due to carelessness.

I would have rather seen Roland Michener Arena get refurbished. The arenas at EE are only 20 years old and still in good condition. I don't think they need a third indoor rink.
