Nicely done. KR may be 28. Also keep in mind this does not include the arena district hotel, office, condo.

Looking great...amazing how a "visual" like whyteknight's conveys what is really happening.
Walking by the KR site, I notice all the fencing was removed yesterday....so the sidewalk is open up right to the building.

There was a drilling rig on the KR site today. I assume drilling for geotech.

Rather late to be doing that at this point in the process....you would have think Dialog would have requested this be done at the onset of design. Likely the insurers are doing their due diligence wrt to construction coverage and asked for a copy of the report...

Not really. You can proceed with prelim design before you need a geotech, particularly in this location. You will need a geotech to proceed into detailed design, which I would assume is taking place here.

Plans to add bike lanes paying off with more cyclists, city says

A long-term plan to add almost 500 kilometres to Edmonton's network of bicycle routes appears to be paying off, a transportation planner says.

Counts last year showed the number of riders had increased between two per cent and 47 per cent, depending on the route, since the city's bike plan was approved in 2009, said Tyler Golly, a general supervisor in sustainable transportation...

^yup and excellent news. Sure there is a balance, but at the moment there is a significant imbalance so the more routes the better.

LOL... they don't know shyte on C2E. You need to learn to read man. That site has a proposal for the RFEI for the CoE consolidation. I noted that a week ago. The people who have an option on the property are the sames ones who operate the tower to the south, and to the west.
