L Tower really is the star of that shot, and it's not even finished. Its location also does a god job of expanding the visual core of the city.

I wouldn't be surprised if you could find cities that are 20x the size of Yellowknife with a similar sized skyline.

what's even more cool is that that photo of Yellowknife is missing the two tallest buildings in the city. I believe the photo is taken from the tallest, a mixed-use tower called Centre Square - Northern Heights.

I'll bet that 99% of the people on this board don't know that the flin-flon stack is the tallest structure in western Canada.

Yeah man! Looks pretty dense too! The inner city of Winnipeg is actually remarkably dense. Osborne Village is the second densest neighbourhood in Western Canada!
