Took these pictures on a grey, warm and foggy january day

Pardon me for the shitty quality, the skies were shite and my telephoto lend has yet to arrive. But here is our beloved V as seen from St-Henri. You can barely make out the crane at the right of le 1250.

I was quite disappointed with the dull, featureless skies and the low lighting, so I'm due for a return up to this defunct malting plant on a clearer, sunnier day

Thanks. By the way, getting up there is no pic nic, and is quite dangerous and terrifying for non-experienced urban explorers. I've got more pics of the interior which I will upload later.

Yeah, as soon as I said I need to get up there I told myself "Wait, isn't that place a creepy, dangerous abandoned old plant with ghosts inside?"

And lol at the trees growing on the roof.

I go there regularly, PM if you are in need of exploring a cool place and freaking out simultaneously.

Awesome Montreal shots (Darko and Rico!)

Here's Ottawa from today, taken around 11:30 am (as indicated by the Peace Tower). You can see the two cranes for 90 Elgin (behind Parliament), 150 Elgin, just to the right, and the top of Tribeca (2 x 27 storeys) to the right of that.

In many ways (outside the city centre anyway), that is exactly what it is (writ small however).

Yes, True. But only when the cars are not on the tracks. - I can't wait until Toronto gets some electrified commuter rail lines, still looks to be at least 10 years off.
