Dude, North York's skyline is off in the distance, like I said, it's hard to see in the pic, it was the only pic I had handy. In the pic it's just to the right of the Yonge and Eglington portion.

^^^ Wow, that picture's probably older than most people on this forum. Circa 1988 I'm guessing. You can see the crane for Canada Trust Tower to the left of Commerce Court North. Scotia Plaza must be newly completed.

EAP looks spectacular. i also feel it will be that much more-so when the twin is built. it makes the skyline from that angle. fantasict picture and thank you for sharing it.

It always comes as a shock to Brits when you tell them that Calgary (56) has more 100m+ buildings than London (51).

No, I don't go around talking about Calgary but I tidbits of information like that come in handy when Brits make condescending remarks about there being nothing beyond the big 3 cities except a bleak backwards tundra. Calgary may not be a big cosmopolitan city, but its not some speck of a frontier town either.

I was born in London. It's a great city, but some of the locals can also be the most arrogant self absorbed people you ever come across.

Although the most arrogant person I ever met was from Burnaby. She kept making condescending remarks towards Montreal because according to her it was a small town full with nothing to do.


There's all kinds of messed up people all over the world. The best folk I met were a bunch of black dudes from Staten Island. Quite interesting.

Most people I have met in England think all of Canada is bleak tundra. They just have no comprehension of the size of the country.

The general level of knowledge about Canada is shockingly low considering our ties to that country. Canada is huge eye opener for the ones that actually visit.

I find Calgary much more interesting city than London, which is why I have been to Calgary, but only used London for changing flights a dozen time. Never found the interest to visit the city itself, unlike I was really looking forward to visiting Calgary back in September.

Yep, pretty much. My Sister (lives in Manchester) took her friend to Niagra Falls a few years back. Her friend was expecting bearded lumberjacks everywhere or something, and kept asking where the Canadians were..
