Really? I have always liked it. I dunno, I really like the Elipse towers. Vaughan, North York, Brampton, Richmond Hill, and many other skylines in the GTA are much worse.

In defense of Scarborough, it is an impressive way to come into the GTA from along the 401 from points northeast. The buildings may not be extremely attractive, but they are tall enough that they make an impression.

The Humber Bay (aka Etobicoke) skyline achieves the same thing for people coming in from the Airport or the QEW. It's a decent looking skyline from a distance, but not much better than Scarborough's when you get up close.

It's actually a lot better then it was a few years ago. It's getting some impressive height and some decent architecture for suburban residential towers.

I really wish Hamilton's skyline was visible from Toronto, probably has to grow a lot taller before that happens though.

North York might not be amazing, but it's still better looking than Scarborough's.

Tell me that North York doesn't look better.

It's hard to see in this pic, but it's the only one I could find at first hand.

Speaking of North York's skyline, the following buildings are all well under construction and five of them would alone count as a new tallest for North York's skyline: Diagram

So it's set to improve dramatically. Will probably become the 3rd best GTA skyline behind Mississauga.
