This project is back. However, it no longer looks like what you can see on this render.

Here is the most recent proposal for the new Montréal ' Entrée de Ville', which involves the now underway demolition of Bonaventure Highway.

Dear God Levis is on roll, new Deshardins HQ (15 fl), new convention centre tower (21 fl) and now this 24 fl proposal. Quite amazing to see 2 new skylines rapidly evolving in the Greater Quebec area!

Revolting no, for those of us that like 1960's commie block apartment buildings it's pretty nice.

Definitely not attractive... Although it's not as bad as some of the tower blocks in Longueuil and Laval.

Actually, this is the new convention centre tower. It will have 24 floors instead of 21.

Bah! Well at least Levis gets some height. Too bad their tallest tower is going to be a complete mess.

You'd think a city and a region with 400+ years of social and architectural history would think up something better than this! yeesh

There are no renders, they only began working on the take-down of the eyesore expressway last summer. It will be at least 5 years before the boulevard will be completed.

Anything in Liberty Village beats the crap out of the Levis proposal. I just happen to not think the Levis proposal is really all that bad though.

Um, no bigger better renders were posted ages ago. In fact that proposal has been around since June 2009. Also, if any Montreal forumers can post those up close renders of the towers seeing as this one is still alive that would be great. It looks like an awesome development. Another thing, is the Hilton still moving?

As much as I dislike a lot of the buildings in Liberty, that Levis proposal takes the cake for pure ugly in the proposal section right now. Nothing in the Queen West Triangle even comes close to it.
