Most sites that you can upload your images too will allow you to adjust the image rezolution. Usually before you upload the image. Just look around on the site that you use and if there is a user preference section.

There is also Photoshop if you have it.

If you're using tinypic, after you select the file but before you click 'upload' there is an option to resize the image. (It is step #5 in the info graphic about tinypic)

Thanks for the tips everybody. It's amazing what a little effort can cause one to avoid for 5 years or so. But I think I'm finally able to contribute pictures.

This is the development going in on 6th east (behind the Burger King) from afar.

Oh good, that worked! Okay, so I snapped some before I went home this evening. It was a bit dreary, but it's an update nonetheless.

Here's some more of that one. It's bringing some much needed density to the area if you ask me.

It isn't a true through-road, but it does split the block up. Take what we get.

The new apartments going up on 400 East. Not much to look at yet.

The Lotus on South Temple is much deeper than I'd imagined.

State Street Development- Concrete Pad going in

And the new civic building across from the Library

Agree, Love that Public Safety Building. Another iconic feather in SLC's hat.

I like how the Public Safety Building complements the City Library, while not necessarily imitating it. It extends that open space too, and is more fluid than you usually see in a government building of that size. It's all good.

It may be the sexiest cop shop in the country.

Salt Lake City’s new Public Safety Building boasts blast-resistant curving glass walls, a plaza that will be graced, upon completion in May, with a fountain and sculptures and an outdoor canopy so the public can linger and gaze across 300 East upon the sweeping architecture at Library Square.

Anyone know of a really good German restaurant to go to in the area? I am taking my wife out for dinner tonight and was thinking German food sounded good.
