Given how old that overpass is, it would have to rebuilt completely.

^ Was already rebuilt with the realignment of Bow no? Just replaced the main span?

It's likely that usage of the overpass will diminish greatly, given that the bus routes are changing and there will no longer be a need to get across Bow Trail to change buses. As such, it's unlikely that it will be a spending priority.

I am curious to see how all of the concrete poured over the last bit here stands up. I imagine that there will be lots of cracking given the temperature fluctuations during setting time over the past month.

I don't know if it's sped up, but if not, it's crazy how you can get from 69th st to downtown in ~5 mins. If someday we had infrastructure for express trains that would be fantastic.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think I heard it will ordinarily be ~12 mins.

That video is sped up significantly.

that video is probably sped up 2x, and they only stop at each station for a second. Would be pretty boss to get from 69st to Sunalta in 4 minutes!

I think that video is more than 2x sped up, closer to 3x. The train looks like it's going 200 km/h.

I don't think it is sped up too much, the estimated time between stations is 2 minutes, and it will be at least a minute of loading/unloading passengers so the trip down to sunalta can't be more then 6 minutes without really stopping at stations.

I've never noticed until now that the roofs in the stations are actually open and not fully enclosed. I just assumed they would be enclosed and it sure looks that way when you drive past them. I guess it will help with the natural lighting, but at the same time it exposes riders to the elements as they are waiting.
