50,000 units over 2 years was truely insane. Miami took a decade to sell that and it was one of the hottest places in the continent.
5000 units/year is roughly what Chicago peaked at last decade and equal to one 40 to 50 floor tower breaking ground per month.
The CityPlace/Fort York lands weren't expected to be developed until about 2030 and they're both largely complete with a couple of bonus plots like Panorama.
