As if you actually think a google street view can actually portray how dramatic the hills are in the Northwest and even to a small extent, the southwest of the city?
Here's at least a somewhat fair representation of the NW part of the city, keep in mind this is in the middle of the Northwest, not even close to outside the city. It is just outside of Nose Hill Park, one of the biggest public urban parks in the world.

If you look due west (in person) from that location the Foothills in the city become very dramatic with the Canada Olympic Park built right up on one of the slopes, lots of high end communities up in the hills too. I am in Ranchlands on the East side of the valley.
