Brilliant. Just fantastic. I love everything about that pano. I wish I could have seen it in person!

Thanks! It was rather incredible. The fog kept undulating higher and lower. I waited in this spot till well after sunrise...might have another pano to post in a bit

So if I do any nighttime skyline photography, dusk is always a good bet because you can be sure the condos will still have lights on at least.
Yeah it is definitely not the easiest city to photograph at night. I guess winter time around 6 pm would be your best bet for capturing the most city lights.
Great pics btw!

And Bulliver great Edmonton pano!

Holy crap ! That shoot of Calgary is simply beautifull with the rockies in the background, thanks for sharing !

By the way, the rockies looks so close but they'maybe not. I wonder how much time you need from Calgary downtown to the foothills ?

ALL of my recent activity notices on Flickr are for comments/favourites of Bulliver's panorama.

Brilliant shot, again, man.

I agree! The beginning of the Rockies are about a 45min drive west of the city.

That area in the foreground fronting onto the river is known as East Village, and has begun a huge transformation that will see an addition of ~11,000 residents, multiple hotels, parks, large amounts of retail-including large urban-format stores, a National Music Centre, new downtown library etc.

That's the view of Calgary I had last time I flew in. Truly a spectacular city. It stands head and shoulders above ANYTHING else on/near the prairies. It's just... I loved Calgary.
