Good to see for when staying a the Prince Arthur and eating at that McDs I kept thinking how unfortunate it was that TB was wasting their best feature.

Nope, but those pictures make the city look very promising. I can see a future cottaging destination in the making.

Yeah it does have a long way to go but it certainly is going in the right direction.
Especially since the city has decided to separate development between the two downtown cores of the city. The waterfront core (Port Arthur) is getting the more residential and hotel development stuff and the other core (Fort William) is getting the more commercial/office developments. At least they are doing it right Nice that they are maximizing their resources and not picking one core over the other.

I am guessing mixed office/condo, but who knows.

There's apparently only two units per floor, so it's pretty high end.

The location alone makes it high-end. This is a great looking project, okay fine, the colour of the glass makes it a bit "XEROX office building in the park 1988" but it remains a preliminary render. Plus, let's not forget the best part of this project: a destitute building that has been bastardized by a vulgar 1950's addition will find back its original shape!

My contention is 90% of that will happen in the next 1 to 5 years.

The interesting thing is, not ALL proposed/planned projects are on that list.... with some significant residential exceptions.

That's really fantastic for Edmonton. I'd say there's prolly another billion in developments not included on that list, plus the buildings that are already UC.

How much is Manulife II going to be worth?
