The bottom pic really depicts Macewan's actual girl to guy ratio.

Sweet. I was wondering when they were going to complete this.

I've never been able to figure out if this project is the monumentous one that the mayor alluded to many months ago. Is this it, or was he refering to something else?

I just got word that over 700 NorQuest staff have been invited to the Legislature tomorrow for the Premier's Capital Ex lunch. This hasn't happened before.

Maybe there will be an announcement of some kind regarding the new NorQuest buildings?

Have to think that might be the case... I have heard it was looking good for funding.

CFAC has the curves of later Cardinal designs.

Looking good though. When do we get to see some conceptuals of the exterior.

Of note. The Post Office has started moving their vehicle parking into the Impark lot next to the CN tower. Demolition looks to be getting ready to begin.

1 & 3 appear to be quite nice, but don't seem in keeping with the mayor's comment along the lines of "shocking" or something like that, so #2 then perhaps? Has this been delayed, because I thought the mayor's original comment made it sound like the announcement would have been made months ago. Going from memory, though.

Centre for Performing Arts, led by Irv Kipnes, was presented to the Downtown Vibrancy committee to gather support last month and has been building momentum quietly behind the scenes. Kasian is working on concept drawings/plans.

If Kasian is involved, I'm guessing that's not where the WOW is coming from about this project. More like the private money behind it, I'm guessing.
