Stampede Fireworks finale from last night. Amazing for a Tuesday. I can only imagine what the weekend/finishing fireworks will be like. The end of this movie is great, make sure you have sound. The cannon style ones at the end are always cool.
If something like the Bow was built in Montreal. I'm pretty sure, we wouldn't hear the end of it. (and not in a negative way either!!) It would then be the greatest thing since sliced bread. The feeling is always different when the project is in your hometown.
It's one of the most beautiful buildings I've seen in person. Don't knock it till you've actually experienced it.

I would have to agree.... although I am still not liking the convex width from the NE/N, but the SW elevation is simply incredible.

PVM is a landmark in this city. In person it looks amazing.! The Bow looks massive! .. like a huge water tank except half of it is missing lol.. perhaps Edmonton will get the other half.

Agreed. And just for the record, even though that doesn't mean you HAVE to like the buildings, but PVM is a I.M. Pei design and CIBC is by Peter Dickinson. To qualify them as awful is, well, strange to me.
