yep, found that. So the Powell overpass was the top priority for the Burrard Inlet rail corridor and it's getting underway. Interesting that the Malkin connector to replace Venables is the #2 priority - and how their plan says that it requires a connection to the viaducts at the other end... Doesn't that make the city's $$ spent on this corridor plan and the Powell overpass, and the $$ they're spending on the viaducts tear-down campaign, completely self-contradictory???
For that matter, it's interesting how the province, CP rail etc. envision the expanded use of the rail connector to increase utilization of the False Creek railyards to support port operations - whereas City of Vancouver planners seem to think the rail yards are going to disappear and be replaced with condos (at least that's what I'm told when I ask about the motivation for a GNW alignment on the M-line extension...)
