Great shot! though why are there so many flat roofs in Toronto? you guys need a big EAP type tower, that would mix it up nicely.

Aura (which will be particularly visible from this angle), L Tower and One Bloor will all have sloping roofs of one kind of another.

Its a great skyscraper One of the best in the province.

But yeah, wrong location. It would have looked great on Rene-Levesque, instead they built stubby little concrete towers

I've always had a love/hate relationship with the good old Marie G. but nowadays, I'm learning to appreciate her more. Surely not the most elegant building but it does have, at least in my mind, some interesting relief on its facade.

I've always liked that building. It's the Delta that's problematic. That should get re-clad.

As far as brutalist skyscrapers go it's one of the good ones. Plus all the crap on the roof is at least relatively balanced regardless of the angle.

The populations are actually closer than you think, and Toronto isn't at 1.4 million people? so where is this "twice it's size" coming from, you must have the wrong city
