Wow, nice proposal! How big is going to be the arena? Over 20,000?

Where will the Edmonton arena proposal be located? Do any of those towers currently exist?

18,400 for hockey, 20000 for concerts

104ave from 102st-104st

Some do, some will be part of this development. We are expecting a new hotel, office and condo along with 180,000sqft of retail and entertainment.

The project page says that it's office, but it looks like a condo in that rendering.

It's a condo. Information on projects in Montreal is often innacurate/missing on this website.

I think it's the combination of the two that makes the tower so beautiful.

Any chance the design is by Core Architects? Reminds me of a lot of their work in Toronto.

It is good. I'd like it even better at 10-15 stories taller (if zoning permitted), but still I'm so relived to be rid of that huge empty lot.

Does Edmonton have a basketball team? There are 8 teams out east, that I know of.

No, it's by MENKES SHOONER DAGENAIS LETOURNEUX Architectes. But you are right to make the comparison. I wish Core would build something here in Montreal.

Well, I guess we always want higher... but this is good enough for me. The tower will look very slim from south and north.

looks pretty in line with a lot of monteal aesthetic these days, with the black mostly-solid cladding... Louis Boheme II?
