Peel and York Region have 2.5 million people.

Add in Hamilton, Oshawa, Niagara-St.Kitts and Oakville-Halton you're looking at 4.5 million low-class people.

Oakville people are snobs, and just because they are the richest people in Canada doesn't make them classy.

I said he has the classiness of a 905'er... by defending the 905, it means you all assume Caltrane is unclassy And why can't an outer 416er aspire to 905 sensibilities?

So The Architect hails from Oakville which is apparently the richest community in the country. Things suddenly makes more sense. Yep, aA has nothing on historicism highlighted by acrylic stucco.

Nice try, that's not what you meant at all.

Wow, flame much? (reported, btw)

I live in Oakville but I'm from Old East York, asshole.

I hate aA because their designs suck, not because I like "historicism highlighted by acrylic stucco". Though I guess it makes sense that you like aA, by your constant trolling, flaming and personal attacks it shows you have the vision and creativity of a 4 year old learning to play with blocks.

Care to explain how an entire town can be classified as snobs or unclassy?

David you manage to amaze me every time with your photos of Quebec City. There is just nothing else like it in North America and it has to be one of if not the most beautiful cities on the continent.

Is there any other place outside of Europe that you can see something like this?

All reputation. I'm willing to bet a majority of the posters saying that have only ever driven through Oakville on the QEW.

There are snobby people in Oakville obviously, I knew a lot of them in high school, but to classify an entire town like that is akin to saying all Vancouverites are drug dealers, all Calgarians are rednecks, all Regina folk are farmers, all Winnipegers are boring, all Torontonians are rude, and all Montrealers are rude, snobby, french seperatists.

Thanks! I've been rediscovering my hometown as of late so I guess my enthousiam is conveyed throught these pics. Also, Quebec City is content just doing her own thing so not a lot is known about the provincial capital outside Quebec. Hence, I thought I'd show a facet of the city which isn't often portrayed in these forums. Hope it's working!! Allright, last one... for now:

Sorry Oakville people, don't be offended half my extended family lives in Oakville. Infact my cousin is best friends with Donavon Bailey.

I know Oakville people are not snobs. Just the rep.

Quebec City's skyline just doesn't compare to anything else in North America. It's in a category of it's own. I have yet to visit but it's at the top of my list

Edit: Let me rephrase that... Quebec City doesn't compare to anything else in North America, period. Both skyline and street level.

My turn :

Could be somewhere in northern France if you remove that ''arrêt'' stop sign
It was said by alot of peoples that the city in france with the closest architecture
of Quebec city whould be St-Malo. See the link.

The Mauvide Genest Manor was built in 1734. It's a good example of French architecture
especially from Normandy. See the link bellow
