Edit: On further review Waterpark Place III is actually 930,000sf, I thought it was 750,000.

My bad.

So Toronto is slightly ahead of Vancouver with 1.7m vs 1.4

All that aside, my point about office towers in Vancouver is that they are very small, and get lost in a sea of condo towers. In most cities, the tallest and most prominent buildings are office towers, but not in Vancouver. One more thing that makes Van unique I guess...

Like I said, Vancouver will likely be back in third by year end, but right now it is doing well.

And I'm not sure how many more Calgary towers we'll see go ahead this year. Eau Claire tower would be my bet, I don't think we will see Herald square for a wide variety of reasons, including major parking issues and the simple timeline of securing a lead tenant that large.

Thats odd, especially given that the MNP pure office tower that has just started demo / prep work on site will be 36 floors tall.

And there is another serious proposal, the Credit Suisse tower, pure office, that will be 31 stories tall.

Both stunning designs that I would not trade.

The Banker's Hall twins and EAP look soo freakin' fantasic. My favourite cluster of buildings in the country right there.

I stand corrected. Vancouver could still benefit from a 50 storey tower or 2.

That's not Vancouver, it's Toronto. Although that development was done by a Vancouver company so maybe that's why you were thinking that.
