An infill project in Saskatoon's Warehouse District. Three storey office building with ground floor retail. Respects the scale and character of the area echoing the proportion, form, and massing of adjacent historic brick buildings and incorporates a simple mid-century modern aesthetic. Modern elements include metal sunshades and exterior LED lighting.

It looks like wavy balconies are the latest fad everywhere.

I'd go even further and say that describes architecture from almost every era.

The application for demolition of two old "Art-Decoish" apartment buildings on Riverside Drive in Saint-Lambert has been approved by the city. Not bad looking old buildings, but perhaps not the best use of prime land.

Here is the what the site looks like now:

Here is the 8 storey condo project that is slated to go in this location (corner Riverside Drive and Argyle Street in St. Lambert).

This building's missing a podium or atrium.

FAD is clearly playing off the warehouse type buildings to the south of it. The squares in the windows look good. I'm quite interested to see how it pans out.

Great developments coming from Montreal. I really like these two.

Wow. I actually quite like FAD. Fingers crossed it won't be another victim of The Cheapening

It's great to see Montreal getting some very decent proposals. Many of them look to be very Toronto(ish) in design.

This one reminds me of Massey Tower.

Both proposals are borrowed from the Florida/Gold Coast aesthetic. Aqua brought it to the north.

The Montreal proposal has a unusually obscure render view... guess they have no choice when the street address is more of an alley than anything.

Another rather obscure render:

I know it's been around for a couple of years but they finally have the old building demolished and the site cleared and there seems to be a large push to get this project officially U/C by summertime so I thought I'd repost this one.

LOL, Gold Coast, that's a good one. And I have yet to see a design like these in Florida. You really hate to think Toronto styles might be shared with other cities don't you? Also I never said Massey was Massey was a Toronto design only it resembled the Montreal proposal. I was referring to the earlier renders posted.

Everything's going to be Australia this Australia that with you for the foreseeable future isn't it? Lets hop you don't go to Vegas next and try to tell us they build the best structures on the globe. lol

That is one huge podium on Capital Pointe. Is the hotel in the podium alone as it appears?
