...is better described as the cheap knock off of Aqua as, just like Aqua, it uses only the shape of the balcony floorplates to create the undulated effect, whereas this...



...while also manipulating the balcony floorplates to create an undulating effect, also creates and emphasizes the effect by use of fritted glass on the balconies.

I actually prefer both the Montreal and Toronto proposals over Aqua as to me Aqua looks perpetually unfinished.

really?...to me the chicago one has far more finesse.

wonder how they deal with the cold transfer through the cantilevered concrete.

Actually it will be an excellent filler for that narrow, very minor street. The twins won't show in the skyline, but they offer perfect street density, with shops on the first floor. It's not high end, but it's designed by the the gang of Cardinal Hardy, so the details and material should be fine.
