Ultima going into sales shortly, perhaps late 2012 start unless they proceed on spec.

Corner 1 is to start soon, i'd expect once the frost is out, but it is BCM... so who knows.

who is good at photoshop?

Shouldn't be, first week back in Ottawa after break week isn't a time to miss Question Period when the government is under frontal assualt.

Was the 'town car' a Taurus? If so, was likely the Premier.

This is an older article but it has a photo of a model of The Pearl that is quite cool:

I would prefer if they keep the height and build the north tower in two phases. Build the western portion first. seems that would be less expensive as there would be less excavation, pilings, etc. they could even sell of the eastern lot.

I am wondering if the LRT substructure was coming into play... as in $$$

Nice work as always and a little less fearful than I thought. I love the contrast idea.

Sorry, didn't get a closer look. All I saw from a distance was po-po and black town cars (with sirens) surrounding the Sutton.

Usually town cars in motorcades don't have exterior lights - could have just been executing a warrant with some unmarked cars along for the trip.

Whats the purpose of reducing the height on mayfair? They couldn't come up with other alternatives?

I think I like the contrasted stumpier Mayfair 2 over the full height original version.

Mayfair 2 went back to EDC on the 23rd I believe. I doubt they'll just hack 6 floors off and call it a day. I'd expect a redesign for sure.

Beth Shalom looks good too. That end of Oliver is going to look a lot different in a couple years.
