I know it sounds kinda weird but Montreal reminds me almost of a modernist 1920s New York. I dunno. Love the Montreal skyline

That Montreal skyline picture is one of the best I've ever seen. To me, Montreal has the perfect skyline: a mix of building styles, understated, elegant, and simple. The buildings aren't competing for your attention; they exist amongst one another in a simple yet beautiful way.

Really like that perspective of Calgary. From that vantage point you can really see just how dense the core is. It also reminds me why I think Calgary has the 2nd best skyline in the country. Montreal has tall buildings(160 meters+) but lacks density, Vancouver has density but lacks tall buildings. Calgary however, has both in its core and that creates a nice skyline silhouette.

He's talking about ''skyline density''. There's no doubt Montreal is a very dense city, but when looking at a skyline pic, there's a lot of gaps between the big 5s.
