I messed around a bit to include a few of the proposals that may one day effect the skyline as viewed from the north. Included are Stationlands II, Manulife II, Ultima and Dub's 107th st midrise (locations and heights are really rough estimates, ex. dub should be block and a half west of where i have it etc):

Not necessarily longer, just longer I'd say since most of the taller buildings like Manulife, Epcor, and Bell aren't very visible from the south side.

Nope, I agree completely with you there. As much as I like telus plaza, they really do dominate the skyline from the river valley along with their yellowish concrete counterparts (ie. atb, sunlife, macdonald place yada yada yada) obscuring our glassy showpieces like manulife and commerce place, oxford etc.

I find it fascinating that only a couple of new buildings would make such a dramatic change to the Skyline.

My biggest beef with the classic Sask drive view of the skyline is that a lot of those condos that edge down the hill towards the river are not terribly attractive.
