• this building at 28 floors was in the same range as other towers being developed in Southcore, such as 18 York, 16 York, and Waterpark 3
• the building is no inline with the giant superblocks of 45 Bay and BAC East Tower.
• out of those three, this is the only tower to exhibit "movement"
• in the time the other two have been in active sales, this new tower is first released with updated renderings for 28 floors, and now again in its taller form at 44 floors.
• even the old renderings for the 28 floor tower has lease able space of around 650,000 square feet, this new tower is likely to be well over 1 million square feet

Sounds good but it's still no proof
Don't get me wrong I'd love for this to be true.
I don't think anyone can argue the height was increased, the key take away there is on top of the renderings, the big block oxford site now mentions 1,000,000 square feet as opposed to 650.
But here's what stands out to me:
1) They never updated the stacking plans.
2) 1,000,000 is likely the size of the entire tower at the new height. But if they secured a tenant, wouldn't they list a smaller amount ? I'll give you an example, check out the Waterpark place 3, they list available space at 350K, even though the tower has about 900K overall, the reason being RBC took up all the space already.
I know there's a rumor about Waterpark place going to 53 floors or so as well but that's hard to believe i.e. that both these increases are taking place, I doubt there's that much demand.
Anyway, you'd need to see approvals at the city level for both.
