West of the old brewery is a baseball field that also doubles as a dog park for local residents. Are you saying this is going to be redeveloped?
In-between the baseball field and the road to the east are a string of single-family lots that are all vacant, sauf one.

As for the winter festivals, you should check out the Deep Freeze Byzantine Winter festival on Alberta Ave in early Jan. Gets better and this year it will be incredible!

The baseball field is DC1 though... NOT parkland.

44 @ ~10' floor to floor = 440' or 146.67m... interesting for that is just about as tall as you can go under the overlay.

I'm excited for rossdale development so much potential down there. And yes keep the diamond! What a great central location. Here's a question I've always thought of though.. Is there a reason why supertall highrise down in rossdale would not be built? Can't they make like a 200+ metre condo highrise go up there and not reach the height restrictions imposed in upper downtown?
Can't find other thread, but I believe this is the Wasnea DC2 on 99 ave and 106st SEC. That very poor integration of existing 'affordable' tower and this new one.
It would also demolish the 3rd Premier of Alberta's house which I adore (mustard) one and likely remove those beautiful coniferous.
I will be diligently working on this one.
