It's 1992 all over again for Scarborg. Slab is back. At least it's added density and much needed new life to this lame intersection. I guess with location in mind, it is somewhat tolerable.

Toronto real estate transactions are almost like corporate take over mergers on the New York Stock Exchange.. $50 million, $60 million, $70 million, $100 million... They happen almost everyday now, and with increasing regularity.

Phase 1 of the Bassins will apparently be complete for Spring 2013. Griffintown will almost be unrecognizable at that point!

(One thing that irks me is the low-level of density in between Griffintown and the downtown core... The ETS buildings, are much too short given the huge amount of land they take up. As are all those 3-story yellow brick condos that look liked they were ripped out of Saint-Hubert circa 1987).
