It's been submited officially to the City council tonight at 61 floors and 197m !!

Yep it will be going for approval for 197m.

Sales will determine how high it ends up going, but of course Cadillac was going to get it approved for as high as possible then build to demand.

Lets just hope the demand is high enough to justify going to the full height.

It would be an interesting comparison side by side with Buttonville and Edmonton's planned 30,000 person community on its downtown airport.

Of note re: Buttonville this is about a 20 year buildout.

It is still very much in its infancy from a design standpoint. About the only things expected to stay relatively intact through the planning phases are the total square footage and the lake.

Wow! Tall and sleek, in an obscure part of downtown...couldn't ask for more!

I was walking past this lot this summer and thought it was a shame there was nothing there..not anymore! wazooo!

Design-wise, not too impressed, but let's hope that changes!

Montreal is really booming with proposals.

The proposals here on Skyscraperpage are only a small party of everything going on right now.

There are a tons of solid proposals from serious investors ( FTQ, Canderel, Sidev, etc.) who don't even have renders.

It was just a matter of time until we get our share of projects!

More filler for Ottawa. I think the mid-rise, Euro scale works perfectly in Ottawa.

Got it. Union street between cathcart and Rene-Levesque. That tiny parking lot in the shadow.

That's right. Practically next to each other. Good density going on in downtown. Great stuff. There's now a supposed rumour of an Altitude phase 3, probably on Union. I know nothing more.

Bah, couldn't they make it 200 instead? Adding 3 meters shouldn't be that hard.
