In reading this a couple of thoughts come to mind. First it is a bit scary when I here they only have verbal agreements with the demolition and construction companies. Excuse my images, I took them in the fading light of dusk with my iPhone, and afterward I slightly processed them to attempt to enhance the contrast, intensity, etc. I was able to take a few photos a couple nights ago! (Images hosted at photobucket.com)

I saw this thing parked in the 11th St. & Albert St. SE corner lot -- is it a pile driller?

Here's the progress at Regina Inn renovations (north face).

I believe Arcola School was mentioned some time ago. Here is what they've done so far.

Can anybody remind me (us) what they're building near the intersection of Park St. and Douglas Park Ave.? (Again, excuse the image! IPhone has no capability to stitch images, so I had to do it manually!)

They are building Douglas Park School.

You can't tell from this picture but the new railings are actually not glass, but are vertical metal bars. They are covered in poly in this picture.

They have installed the huge LED lights in the 4 big light fixtures on the Plaza. (shown in this old shot)

Also the have installed LED spot lights, facing up, on the spaghetti shades.

Was in the south end yesterday and noticed that their starting construction on Parliament ave on both sides of Lewvan (connection to Albert street). I wonder what commercial business are going on that street.

Anyone know what is going up behind Canadian Tire in the eastend? It's dug down and there are huge piles set with rebar protruding. It looks to be about half to 2/3 the side of Canadian Tire so it's a pretty good size building.

^^ It's a dead project. It was supposed to be a condo complex. It's been sitting like that for about 3 years.

Drove past 11th and Albert today. This is a pile driver. They are pounding steel beams into the ground all around the perimeter for the shoring for the excavation. They are building a 70 stall underground parking garage.

I was walking down 15th ave today and noticed that a construction fence is around the empty lot on 15th and Montreal St. where they are building that 4 story condo. The surface dirt/grass is cleared away and they have stakes up.
